Welcome to our ‘Introduction to Safeguarding in International Schools and Colleges’ e-learning course.

This course has been created by Dr Dan Grant, a lead inspector for two of His Majesty’s (King Charles) Inspectorates. With a PhD in safeguarding, Dr Grant is also a published academic author and has served as a safeguarding expert, for the UK Government.

Objective: this training course will give educators the knowledge, skills, and awareness necessary to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns in international schools and colleges. Educators will also gain a deeper understanding of safeguarding principles and practice, enabling them to create safer learning environments for all students.

Duration: this e-learning course is designed to be delivered online, with interactive activities. It is expected that the course will take around 1 hour to complete.

 

Completion: After completing the course, educators will be awarded a certificate endorsed by the National Association of Designated Safeguarding Leads. NADSL is a leading UK organisation that supports and trains safeguarding leads across the world.
